I have recently picked up a NOS AME320D.
Is just changing the battery good enough assuming it fires right up, or should it get a full service? I’m not too familiar with quartz service intervals.
Thanks

Thanks Unless it has been keeping crappy time, just change the battery and enjoy it. Quartz modules are under such low stress that they start behaving erratically long before any damaging wear can happen.
I just changed out the dead/dying 10 year batteries in a couple of analog Casios and now they are tracking the atomic clock again.
