I’ve now seen a few re-issues released since I’ve started collecting and have also stumbled over some good and not so good reissues. In the light of the up coming Baselworld and a dream reissue potentially released- (Arnie) What would you re-issue and why. Feel free to share your thoughts on any hits or misses as well. If Arnie wasn’t on the rumor mills this would be my choice. It has a very unique shape and despite its name (poor mans MAS) I don’t think it really shares much apart from the hand set and dial. It is a very well balanced watch aesthetically. It has a low height profile, a very clear and inviting dial and bezel combo and the coin edge bezel suits the nostalgia of the 60’s and 70’s sports divers.

The PM62MAS is a might fine watch, Cam. Can I request it be reissued in a 40mm case, or are case size changes heresy?

God there are loads! High up on my list would be a proper sushi-roll range and a decent mech world timer 6217. And of course a proper range of mech 6138's and 6139's. I could go on...

I agree. There are loads of amazing examples of ladies watches that could be reissued In a 40-44mm that would satisfy many a collector.

Yes sir I'd be down for a PM62MAS reissue for sure.
And the Sushi Roll was in fact re-issued. 7S36 offering a few year's back. Forget the reference number and too tired to Google it.

I wouldn’t mind a navigator timer (6117-8000) reissue

I wouldn’t mind a navigator timer (6117-8000) reissue If they did no doubt it would be too large. :-(

I think we may need to re-nickname that 7005. With people asking $800-$1000 for these, they ain't exactly for the po' folk anymore!
I think the 7S36s you are referring to were part of the SBSS series, and were made from 1997-1998. Oh, my God...that was OVER 20 YEARS AGO.

Exactly what I was thinking. I’d love nice 3 o’clock crown diver from Seiko.

HiBeat I’ve been looking into the pm62mas. It looks the poor mans reference is more like calling the 7548 the poor mans tuna. Both watches 62mas & 7005 were available in a similar time period and shared a similar dial hand set and had a rotational bezel. There was a noticeable price difference when the slang reference was termed.

7c43-6020, mini Tuna at 42mm. I’d like upgrades of a stainless shroud instead of the plastic and an automatic movement. Keeping it at 42mm is key though.
