Beautiful day here in Berkshire. Nice morning so far of tennis and taking the pooch for a long walk through the woods and fields and park. A few jobs to do around the house then unfortunately I have to work pretty much all weekend getting a couple of tenders finished, sigh. Anyway, started the weekend with this SKX007. I have two of these, this one with text faded to orange and another where the text is still a deep red.

About a year ago I had to pass on an opportunity to buy the teal-dialled limited edition SRPC13 as I didnβt have the funds available. Then I was lucky enough to snag the Grand Prize in last yearβs anniversary contest - the black-dialled SRPC15 - but this just made me regret not getting the 13 even more! Unfortunately the teal-dialled variant now seems to go for silly money, whereas the black-dialled one is still readily available π€ Now, Iβve a soft spot for blue dials and as part of this particular Recraft range Seiko issued the SRPC09. Theyβre not readily available here in the UK, so this one winged its way to me from Singapore this week. In the flesh itβs absolutely stunning - nobody does a blue dial quite like Seiko! I love the shape of the case and it feels really good on the wrist. This is going to become one of my favourites for sure!

This Arnie belong to a Special Forces guy, my big Brother. Was pretty mangled when he passed it on to me. Felt it needed a tougher look.

Seiko Saturday, LM 5606 from 1969 on the original bracelet. Is that a stretch bracelet or one you can add/remove links? *edit: by stretch I mean with built in expander, not that itβs an OMSB

6309-8840 these have to be the most polished hour markers on any Seiko I own, absolutely beautiful...If I had a loupe left at home I'd reference the dial code...sorry old eyes, lucky to read the case back.
