Hi Jon! Welcome to Wristsushi - actually we prefer the term "horologically challenged". The Seiko 2140 looks like fun. I don't know if we can actually help with your addiction (I'm a sucker for a good deal myself), but we can make your stay comfortable. Jonas

Welcome aboard, pretty nice looking collection there. That two tone Bulova stands out to me as I really dig the sqaureish cases with round dials...

Welcome aboard, pretty nice looking collection there. That two tone Bulova stands out to me as I really dig the sqaureish cases with round dials... Funny thing is I don't like gold. I found that watch in a basket marked $15 each, about 2 years ago. YEA. I have a 8in+ wrist and it on it's biggest size fits me. All I did was blow out the case and it worked. I knew very little at the time, could have been more great watches in the basket only 1 Bulova. It's 1971-1972 Senator "F" It has N1 on the back case, but N2 on the rotor. It was $95 in 71, so $599.68 today. I was talking to my watch guy at his shop, he said if he had the watch in his shop it would be listed for around $300. So really it worth half as much as it cost according to inflation. I now what more whales !

Hi Jon! Welcome to Wristsushi - actually we prefer the term "horologically challenged". The Seiko 2140 looks like fun. I don't know if we can actually help with your addiction (I'm a sucker for a good deal myself), but we can make your stay comfortable. Jonas I love different looking watches and this looks nothing like most Seikos. Few Seikos have numbers, fewer have 1-12 (most missing 3, 6 or 9 for date/dials). While I am only 41, too young to have watched Twilight Zone, that's what this watch reminds me of. That little 11 is just awesome for some reason (different than most I guess). I looked and looked for info only found two listings from years ago where the watch sold for 190 another for 209 (both over seas + shipping). I got it for $50 from goodwill and another $50 for the Uncle Seiko band. How could I say NO.....I need to post some more pics, it's manual wind and really thin. I like that it was made in July 69 (50th moon land anniversary 2019). Problem they have White dial and maybe a blue dial one, too. I will be looking for now.
I have no idea the original band, but I really like this one (just couldn't find one).
Like I said it's pretty thin..........
It's like crown size thin.

Welcome! Nice collection . . . very eclectic! I need to take some more pics of more of my watches.
It's a 48MM watch, it's a little big and chunky looking, but it's titanium so it's lite. On cold days the oil is thicker and slow moving, warmer days the bubble really moves around. The oil is IN the crystal not the watch. I would buy oil filled crystals for other watches if they where available. But I weird ! They have Red, Blue and Yellow ones.
