Several months ago I posted that I'd bought an OEM strap for my Oris through a company in GB. I was told about a 4 week wait. I asked for tracking info and was told they'd get the strap look it over and then send it off to me with tracking. I got the strap without ever being informed. (Took 6 weeks) No big deal until I opened it up and its the wrong strap. Seems to be made for a deployment style! I contact the company as soon as I saw it. Several days go by and I decide to contact them again this time through Pay Pal dispute system. A week goes by and I get the response that the guy who took the order, ordered the wrong strap and no longer works there. Please send the model number and pictures to insure that get it right this time. Now a week later they say send the wrong one back and once they get it they will refund my money. I'm to pay in advance again before they will order the new strap. I would have thought a gesture of good will and "we screwed up" would have had them return my money...Should add they sent me an invoice for the new watch in just a few minutes from our last email exchange...
Honestly where is the trust? I get there is a chance I won't send it back, doubtful, because if I had use for it I would just use it? There's a internet company selling shoes that will send out the replacements (free shipping both ways) without charging your card unless they don't get the wrong ones back in 2 weeks! Even then once they get the shoes back they will refund the full amount...
Just venting before vacation...which is stressful enough...
