Hello WS, I've been quite productive during my holidays. Since I get interested in watches, I wanted to design mine. And because another of my hobbies is CAD and digital rendering, I did it I've put everything I like : dress watch with cushion shape case, blue sunburst dial with assorted chapter ring, applied indices, ... I've also tried my best to follow Tanaka's grammar of design as much as I could understand it. I made it as realistic as I could and it should be able to house a 4R36 (or NH36) movement. I hope you like it but please let me know your opinion and what could be improved. I already plan to make a little slimmer version as I find it a little bulky but the reason is the movement thickness Here it is : 13.8mm thick 22 mm between lugs 41mm wide w/o crown 45mm lug to lug GMT version (I really wish one day Seiko will release an affordable GMT based on 7S or 4R family)

thanks for your kind comments thank you rossr for letting me know the GS 4520. I do like it now! and the batwing nickname is a much better description than my "cushion shape"

Wow, great skills! And a nice looking watch if you can ever get it made!

Wow, great skills! And a nice looking watch if you can ever get it made! haha. thanks. the cost for CNC machining of a single case would prohibitive. but I am consider rapid prototyping for the fun. I thing I can recycle an old dial and even a case-back. crystal should not be a problem. I may compromise for the hands and the crown. but the chapter ring would be an issue.

I think your case proportions are perfect.
Yes, an affordable GMT Seiko would be awesome.

Looks great. Alot like the batwing as others have mentioned but also reminds me of some bellmatics.
