I always wanted one of these back in the day but couldn't justify the $$$, especially as I did not and do not dive. But I have always thought they were one of the coolest things Citizen ever did. When Louis posted a desire to acquire a TST case I pounced on the opportunity for a trade. It's a beast but wears quite lightly on the wrist. The wife is not enamored of it but if anything is an anti-chick watch this is it. Strap options will be a new journey. I had a 24mm 2 ring zulu, way too short. The real estate of this case back will devour a pull through strap. Had a 2 piece zulu, fit and was comfy but still didn't feel quite right. Will need to find a much longer zulu. Currently a 24mm Hirsch Liberty. Still a bit short. Needs an XL. Not usually one for leather on divers but this isn't seeing water anytime soon.

Oh yeah, she's a beauty. I think Louis has a "couple" anyway!

I honestly never liked these before, but now starting to admire these as time passes.
It's always good when a trade happens as everybody wins.
Enjoy!

The more I gaze at it the more it seems like an unintentional design exercise in SteamPunk.

My only gripe about the early versions was that they took 3 batteries if I recall. That's primarily why I sold it to our resident Aqualand King, Louis aka Long-bike. Subsequent models resorted to just one battery. When I lived in Vancouver, many of my diving colleagues wore them as they were the proper tool watch at the time. Enjoy!

I think the biggest battery drain was using the depth meter, which I shall never do. As I have said in the past, if any of my watches see more than 2m of water then I have either dropped the watch or I have drowned.
Good thing I just ordered a new oem dive strap for it. I'm going to need the no deco table...NOT!

Aloha Sir, That sure is a nice Aqualand you have there now. They are quite big but i you wear a big watch you get use too the size. It was serviced and has new parts in it too and should last for some time. If it needs attention of any kind please let me know about it because it comes with a .... FREE CHECK UP IF NEEDED ..... 7dfe79adc2f0 . Hope you enjoy it as much as I do all of them Sir. Louis

I too had a soft spot for those. I remember 16 years ago visiting a used store here in Japan and saw one in the non working watch bin. I picked it up and placed it on my small wrist. Never did buy a used one since but still I would get one if the price were reasonable. I sold off my Marathon JSAR and that was a 46mm beast! Congrats on yours!

OEM Citizen strap arrived. It's a beast. Stiff to the point of torture but a coffee cup treatment bent it into shape.

Nice acquisition, I too have wanted to get one for quite some time. Unfortunately, the right opportunity as not shown itself.
Enjoy!

I got mine as a trade for a cleanup of a 6309. Cost me a sapphire crystal, hand set and gasket kit. Not a bad trade... I popped a flat rubber strap from a Bali special uboat boat replica. The straps surprisingly suitable and comfortable. Here is the original adds.
