Was there an Alpinist with a full lume dial? I’ve searched and find conflicting info.
Thanks.

Yes there sure is a full lume Alpinist and I am here to show it to you Tony ! Today while window shopping at a Grand Seiko AD just sort of killlng time, I lucked into a "Titanium Red Alpinist", model 8F56-00D0. It features the 8F56 perpetual calendar High Accuracy Quartz (HAQ) rated +/- 20 seconds per YEAR. She was sitting in a pre-owned case and I ended up grabbing it at a very fair price to both parties. On the original full-length bracelet, too. Immaculate condition. This has a creamy dial and what appear to be lumed hands to match when viewed in the day time. At night you can see that while the dial is full lume Seiko designers saw to make the hands not lumed. This makes it so much easier to read. Quite a great watch and I am STOKED!
