You guys like em? I'm kinda on overload with all the SRPs, but these i think are cool enough. I like the upgrade to sapphire - and I am a cyclops fan.

Wow I am naturally going to be all over the SRPE series of sapphire with magnifier "King Turtles" (hey, that's their name, I didn't come up with it ) !
Gimme gimme gimme a green patterned dial and I'll flip one or more of my current ones to help pay for it !

To each their own, but I refer to them as warts, because imo it ruins the aesthetics of any watch. That includes the almighty Rolex.

To my eye they are a feature, that works on some designs and not at all on others. A Datejust without a date magnifier looks like a cheap Seiko knock-off. A Seiko with a wide day+date magnifier can be good or not. The 8F series oddly shaped teardrop magnifiers look just awfu to me, but obviously for some guys its the signature of the perpetual and they embrace it.
So glad that none of us always like the same thing !

Well, I'm 75, and they look like warts to me as well. Utility? I'm retired, and I don't need to read the date or the day of the week. All of my newer watches are no-date. As you said, to each his own.
