Hello; I friend of mine found an old watch of his father's and came to me for some basic info, i.e. what date is the watch from and is the bracelet original? I did some sleuthing on the internet and came up pretty empty handed. The numbers on the cb read: 9443-5020 A 390001 Can you maybe explain to me what those numbers describe? Is it serial # and caliber # ? Thank you for any and all help?

Hi! First 4 digits are movement code. Next 4 digits are case code and last numbers represent serial number. First Digit is the year (you need to figure out the decade based on the movement as it represents the last digit: eg. 0 could mean 2010 or 2000 or 1970 or 6 could mean 2006 or 2016 or 1986) and the second digit of the SN second represent the month (eg 3 march 9 sept etc) Could use this link: www.watchsleuth.com/seikodatefinder/Cheers Razvan PS: ignore the “A”

Lasalle is/was an upmarket brand of Seiko. They had very slim quartz watches as a sales argument.
The 9443 is a Seiko Twin Quartz movement, which was used in King Quartz watches.
