My new Arnie suffered a desk diving injury - Caesar stone. So I’ve been at it with diamond paste. Crystal times are yet to produce a sapphire- I checked.

Ouch, camrok! Good work with the lapping paste though 👍🏻 I’m still undecided on the ArSol. Well, I’m not really, I’m just too tight to stump up for one 🤣 No such worries about desk diving mishaps with this one since I’m not back at work until Wednesday. 6319-8000 on a bit of a hair-puller.

Mondays aren’t so bad. It’s your job that sucks! 😆 Gloomy day to capture my SpeedTimer. Looks rather dull.

Is that dust around the bezel at the 50 second mark as compared to the first picture next to it? I hope so after polishing the crystal (which looks much better).

Grey and wet afternoon has taken some of the glow out of this orange dial but it still looks good to me: November '78 7546-700C type II

777 as I was being audited by an accreditation body today, and 777’s are 200audit resistant.

My daily beater 6309 7040 was dead when I went to put it on this morning. I then just grabbed the first box I could see.

Happy New Year All, My father-in-law bought this watch new and I did a very light case recondition, refinished the bracelet and clasp, replaced the battery, crystal, removed all pushers, lubricated and reinstalled pusher. Everything works and have a few questions: - how does one go about removing the battery hatch and are there any sources for a new hatch ?
- where can I get a replacement battery hatch gasket ?
- how do you remove the emblem, mine is beat up and want to possibly remove an repaint or just replace ?
