Aloha, I have had .... This Strap on my watch from when I first got it and the watch from the original Owner and he said it was on there when he got the Watch. I some times post it in our ...... WRUW daily posting , ....... But I was told it needed to be Retired already. So this morning in my Postal Box this was waiting in there. So I went into my room and changed it and now it looks like this. My wife says she honestly agrees with him also so she says, .... " Hey some times you just have to listen to others when they say some thing ". So now ...The Watch looks like this with new shoes. I think it looks quite good all snugged in now myself what do you all think about it. So Thank you kindly ...... My Brother for this ..... " New Uncle Seiko Shoes and it is Appreciated ...... " . Aloha Louis

Sorry Louis a 6309-704X diver just NEEDS the rectangular vent design. The wavy vents just look too modern.

Sorry Louis a 6309-704X diver just NEEDS the rectangular vent design. The wavy vents just look too modern. I agree. I am not a fan of the 'wave' strap even on the SKX. But it's better than having an original strap break and watching your super nice 7002 hit the hardwood floor! True story...

I'm a fan of tropic straps on divers, but that looks nice as well!

Agree on the UncleSeiko, not on the model, though. Flat vent all the way, GL831US it's the one you'd want. Didn't even know Uncle made wavy vent straps!

Some of you guys are harsh!
I gifted it to Louis because his old strap was beat to death. I had this lying around unused with fresh fat boy spring bars and thought he might like to swap out before he loses or breaks the watch.

Aloha ,
Well The Strap .... it was a special gift so I used it. The Strap in question is one my ..... Newly Restored .... 6306 that did not even have a good Dial. But the Original was very stiff and old and might have cracked soon when used. Point: I have had this ... 6306 Watch for over .... 3 1/2 years waiting for a Dial and then I finally got a ... Second Hand one. It still has to get a replacement .... Case Back yet for it because I am using a beat up ... 6309-7040 one. The Strap could not be used so I appreciate getting one even for now.
A Original can cost a lot to replace this old one so until I can even get a ..... Used Original .... I'll use this for now. It's not a problem ... But The Thought of having one now is appreciated much. I hardly use ... The Watch because it was not complete yet, but it still sits in the box because I don't like to damage what I struggled so far to get done just yet. If I do find another .....Original then I'll put it on and use this one on another watch because I do not sell of give away gifted things. So all is appreciated about this and thanks for the interest in it. Aloha Louis
