I picked this up recently. It’s a non runner... It’s got what appears to be a second hack button on the case which is not something I’ve seen in Japanese watches Wondering if this is an entirely Ricoh movement or based on a citizen or Swiss movement.

Well that is a beautiful watch my friend Never seen one this thin before Years before I knew anything A girl I dated got me a Skagen Think it was all stainless with white dial and super thin And that kind of band Always loved that watch till I got my first Seiko I had never even changed a battery back then and once I opened that Skagen I was shocked at how tiny the movt was... Sold it and always wanted to find something like it I will look for one like yours now Thank you for sharing it Not sure what that movt is... Any better pics? Any numbers off it? God Bless,John

No movement number on it then? There’s almost nothing on the www, is there. So how does it work? You press to hack?

I have an omega quartz where a button like that at two is used to advance the second and minute hands.

here is a post about the Ricoh and Hamilton joint venture in the 60s. The electric parts made in USA and the rest by Ricoh of Japan. When they split up, Japan took its auto parts with them.
Here is my NOS Ricoh which is homage to Rolex. Noah Fuller had it in his collection. When he died, JakeB disposed of some of the watches for his Japanese wife. I bought the Ricoh with original box.
