Welcome to another week of „days“. It’s the first day in this new week and if I do remember right it has been called „Monday“ some time ago. Never has there been a time where Seikos roman date indicator did fit better. Have to dig out one of my 6139 with it. Till than it’s the Phoenix for now.

Brought this 50 years old 7005-7030 back to life over the weekend. Unfortunately the rotor was missing. Turns out one of a 7S26 fits, but looks ugly. So if anyone has a spare one that looks better, please let me know. Currently it is about 20s slow, but looks good on the TG in all positions, so I'll make it a bit faster in the afternoon and then I'm done.

Going with Mr Crusty today..... ...the closer you get, the more you appreciate social distancing.

I just had to break out a nicer watch today as it is crappy outside, so no yard work ! SLA033 on a waterproof leather DiModell strap.

Not sure if it was a good move to bring my watch stuff on my home office desk. So easy to get distracted ... I have never unwrapped the bracelet that came with my SLA017 but I must say it looks great. Is it comfortable ? I have always thought the 62MAS reissue belongs on a rubber strap to be 62MAS-like and the OEM rubber is so super comfy. And when and if I ever flip the SLA017 I figure a never unwrapped never sized bracelet would be a value enhancer. This stay at home stuff has me doing all I can to stay sane so maybe if you think it's a good idea I might try out the bracelet.

I got my SLA without the bracelet and had to source it separately for Seiya. Paid quite a lot for a bracelet. Wanted to have the full package and when I realized I may never sell it decided to wear the bracelet. I cannot say is the most comfortable bracelet I ever worn but it looks ok. The mid link is fixed and extents making the lug to lug longer. I can say I wore it more than 10-15 times and not so many scratches on it. Not sure if it has diashield. However on my previous sbdx017 with diashiled I got more scratches than on this one for the same number of wears. I think you should try it on especially if around the hose more. The fixing of the end lugs is not very straight forward and special care should be taken not to scratch the inner part of the lugs.
