I eat a lot of crap foods (fast food) but believe it or not at times I do indulge in healthy eating! I LOVE good burgers, hot dogs and yes....... FRIED SPAM but I also love white rice, and sometimes just a BIG bowl of steamed (with Butter) Cauliflower! My UTMOST favorite is Seafood especially Shrimp! There really isnt a food food I dont like except carrots, collards, peas, and lima beans! Liver too of ANY kind makes me want to hurl! Liverwurst, Lox, and a lot of the Jewish foods I dont care for altho my 2nd. Wife was Jewish and made some AWESOME meals My current Wife of 27 years is Hispanic and is the most awesome cook (other then my Mother when she was still with us) and I DARE anyone to come up with a better meatloaf then her's or Ziti or home made Tamales, or homemade from scratch Spaghetti then her's! Her homemade Apple pie from scratch is simply THE best you will ever find! She makes about 1/2 dozen of them at Christmas because everyone wants them............ My wonderful other 1/2.........................

Oh, how do you like the new title of this thread? hungry1.gif I love it! thunbsup.gif Not to fear here...... she puts PLENTY of meat in her's! She makes basically three different kinds......... Spicy Pork, Spicy Chicken and Sweet! The sweet contain : Pineapple, Raisins, White Corn, Cinnamon and Sugar and there is probably something else I am forgetting but they are the bomb!!! A lot of her cooking and I mean a lot also contain home grown jalapenos from our garden and a lot of garlic! My dear friend Mar who is also a good cook HATES Cilantro which the Wife also uses in a lot of her Mexican dishes! We grow tthat too in our garden as well as Basil! The only thing we have a hard time growing is Dill!

Well, not all Mexican food is tamales and tacos... we live in the heaven for shrimp...sure, there are a lot of shrimp farms around but there is also a lot of wild shrimp being caught. Here is a concoction that my lady made: peeled and deveined blue shrimp, fried in butter and then... bathed with chipotle sauce. Simply deeleecious!!! By the way, not too much, got to keep that youthful figure.

Shrimp!!! OMG my favorite food! Shrimp Tacos, Shrimp Burritos and on occasion the wife will make me Fetuccini Alfredo with an entire can of those little whole shrimps piled over the top! She cant eat shrimp as she is allergic to it so its all the more for me!

I'm about an hour away from my evening meal & this thread is making me hungry. hungry1.gif One of my favourite meals is a Full English Breakfast = sausages, bacon, fried egg, baked beans, mushrooms, hash browns, fried tomatoes, toast & strong, sweet tea. Roast beef & Yorkshire pudding with plenty of veg from the garden is another fave. But if eating out, my top choices would be Italian, Chinese or at the top of the list, Indian curry. Mild & sweet or hot & spicy with plenty of Naan bread & rice. Perfect !

Altho most people I know abhor it.......... SPAM is the food of the Gods and is good ANY time! This is a good breakfast as well! .............. When I was in Vietnam and ever received a care package from home it always included a can of SPAM! We had to hide it, guard it, lock it up or whatever as guys would steal it if they could!

Yes.. Love to eat, love to cook and hate cilantro. I also hate Spam! I was going to take my Mom for an Indian lunch today but when she got in the car I knew she was sick. I love stopping at Waffle House when I see them, but that means I'm on vacation! We don't have them here. I actually tried McDonald's Mighty Wings on the way home from my Mother's. Not bad!

There are several annual bike rides / meetups open to complete strangers with the promise of free food which draw people from over 1000 miles or more. So if you are offering I might me riding I can't find the links at the moment but I know Loopie from the Shadow Aero forums has one.
