Hello there, here's Bertrand aka Bbr6704.
I registered because I own and love 2 seikos watches : a Skx007 I own for 7/8 years now, that barely leaves my wrist, and a Presage "cocktail", that I fell in love with the dial, but don't wear that much.
I also have a vintage Citizen automatic, a golden one, that my grand father bought when he retired, in the 60's, that stayed in the familly and that I wear from time to time.
I came here because I love to grow informations on these watches, and the others from these brands (I especially love Seiko, but like Citizen too).
Apart from watches, I love Japan, for many aspects, as cars and pens, and craftmanship in general.
My "week end" car is a 1992 Mazda Mx5 (NA), and my dayli car is a Rover, but with a Honda engine in it!
I guess the philosophy behind the technique appeals me, and the quality and reliability.
As I turned 40 this year, I'd like to find a vintage Seiko, with something related to the history of the brand, and tomake the watch familly grow (I don't speak of collection, as I don't buy that much watches, and don't want to end with tons of watches, but only the ones that talk to me).
Apart from japanese watches, my two "ultimate" models would be a Rolex Submariner and an Omega Speedmaster, for their look I love, and the part of histoy they represent.
Exept watches, I love old cars (from the 90's and before), guitar (I play eletric guitar in a rock/stoner band), and music (especially rock music).
Oh, and I forgot to mention my familly with my darling and our two daghters (4 years and a half for the elder, and 9 month old for the younger)
So here we are, you get an idea of who I am.
I guess I should make pictures of my watches...
See you in the forums!
