It’s the 29th camrok baby! Never mind, I have a no date on anyway. I would say a simple three hander but erm…

Looks good but the more I look at it the more confused I get. It’s the wrist equivalent of a Roman water clock.

Do those three jewels on the dial contribute to the total jewel count?

Do those three jewels on the dial contribute to the total jewel count? In that pic it is reading 10:17:41 (or thereabouts, it's not the best for reading accurately!) You look to the minute track which is on the right hand side only and read where the hour (10) is pointing to (17) and there is a separate second hand that does a conventional rotation on a conventional seconds track. As for the jewels, they do I suppose. It's a Miyota 9039 base with 24j plus an extra 3 as you have spotted on the time stars or whatever you want to call them.

Been researching this Marathon GPD and got one from Long Island Watch in NY USA. Impulse buy. Had other Marathon watches so the product is legit...meaning tough. This is a big bugger at 48mm wide and 50mm long. But I have had Casio Protreks as large and a marathon JSAR 48mm heavy monster. My old eyes will like the larger readouts Set to arrive around Nov. 8th by fast FEDEX....
