Heya wristsushi, I've got a mod I'm playing with and a Seiko 5 dial I want to use, but it's a bit busy, was thinking about trying to remove the inner 13-24 numerals in the middle and possibly the outer minute hash marks aswell. Is this feasible to do without ruining the dial? I've never really tried this before. I do have a spare dial to test out on Would like to end up with a dial closer to this style, with just the arabic numerals

If you remove the minute tract there will be a HUGE void between the arabic numerals and the chapter ring.
You might want to use Photoshop to erase the minute tract to see what I mean.

Yeah I get what you're saying, maybe the outer ring would be a bad idea, still I think worth trying to remove the inner numbers

That's a nice dial. I'd leave it as is and look for an aftermarket dial that's more to your liking.
