It is October 23rd (somewhere) Day 23 of the October WRUW daily theme. Today's theme is “Wear your movie / TV show / celebrity watch”
Wear a watch a character wore in a movie such as all of the James Bond Omegas or Seikos or 6105's from Apocalypse Now
Wear a watch a character wore on a TV show like Guy Fieri.
Wear a watch a celebrity wears like Sylverster Stallone and a Panerai .
Now that I have ELIMINATED all of the above see if you can find a watch that you can't just Google James Bond watches or Seiko watches in movies
Also Dukes Of Hazzard digital watches (not sure where mine is) or Mickey Mouse watches etc also do not count

I have absolutely no idea if any of my collection have featured in a film or TV series, or have the status of ‘celebrity’ endorsement. I don’t own a ‘real’ one but I do have this Smiths Baby Willard.

Day 23 Wear A TV Movie Celeb Watch Not putting a bunch in to it, my take on a fan favorite. I have worn a more correct design strap on some of my other black bezel dive watches but I like the spin this give... Was thinking of the Captain Willard but it's been showcased a couple of time this challenge, and well I like this one...

I could wear this 6105-8110 even though it never came on bracelet or was bead blasted......... But I'm actually wearing a watch that I swapped my Helson Turtle for....no cash, just a straight swap. Perhaps it could be a horological short film titled "The Helson Exchange" ?

A Kindergarten Cop Arnie is the only celebrity watch I own, the Casio AMW-320C. Secretly hoping we'll see a John Cleese of "Clockwise" today, perhaps dapellegrini will help us out!

Well inboost , then I think today will need to be this one: There's even a good place for a sticker... This is the “John Cleese”, from the 1986 film “Clockwise”. That’s right, the Seiko World Timer, model A718-5030 in stainless steel. These are fairly hard to come by, probably because there are only one or two people in the world who would buy one. Also there are other similar model numbers that have different cases, including anything starting with A708 as well as the A718-5010 - those do not qualify! EDIT: this site shows the watch in the movie - just scroll down the page until you see the movie marks with photos of the clocks and this watch (set to Hawaii time): theclock.fandom.com/wiki/ClockwiseHere’s my article / write-up on this watch: seikoworldtime.com/articles/A718-5030And in interest of showing a diverse selection of brands this month - this is the runner up, a Casio re-issue of the Back to the Future II and III watch worn by Michael J Fox which can be had for (very) cheap: And MADE IN CHINA (gasp):

I have two watches that might come close to qualifying as movie watches. This one is similar to a Bond watch but it’s quartz, not automatic. This was an achievement award from my company and has an engraving on the clasp. I didn’t have the nerve to tell them I’d like to exchange it for an automatic without the engraving.

Inboost should be able to identify why this one is relevant as he ONCE posted something that indicated he had knowledge of or had seen the TV show / Movie / or Celebrity even if he didn't realize it the time.

Well drat, I've failed yet another one of your excellent quizzes cd_god. I was hoping it was a Don Johnson watch but after a few moments with google that doesn't seem to be the case. I'll keep thinking about it but I'll just be clutch at straws.

I'll give you a hint
I lost my key ring from the same thread somewhere while freezing and running to downtown and to the Northside for Tuesdays theme.
I retraced my steps at every photo stop on Wednesday and they were nowhere to be found (and I froze again)
I have extra keys but the coin is irreplaceable and tokens and medal were special.
Words cannot express the amount of anger I have.
