TinkeringFR - that's an awesome group photo! I couldn't get a single person at my work to cross arms for such a shot. Funny how that goes...
69ChevelleSS - I'm starting to think you like teasing us all with what you paid for your picture perfect 6139-6002 and I'd even bet that's less than what your Dad paid for his in 1972! What a deal, I hope to land on one of those some day too.

Sometimes I wonder where all the nice yellow dial 6139-600x's have gone... Then IPD rolls around, reminding me they do exist! @all - very nice!

As for the 6002, I'm still blown away by that deal. It was actually listed for $35! I felt guilty so I paid $50 for it. It did need a service, so I had to trade another really nice one (dubbed the couch potato by SeikoPsycho who I bought it from) in order to pay Spencer Klein to service it so in the end, it still cost me a good amount!

The other one always asked us "why do you have so much watches, you only wear one..." Now he has some SKX's, Alpinist, Sumo, 7002...

I wouldn't be surprised if he kept it for his collection. It was THAT nice! I wish I had a better pic of it but this is all I've got. Bottom drawer of the watch box.
