Have you ever wondered what your watch is worth currently, create a post with detailed pics to get some feedback!
Of course this is all opinion based, and please keep your responses respectful.
Create a separate thread with your watch in question, and please provide as much info as possible.

Fabulous new feature ! After a false start, let this be the way we use this new Sub-Forum: For each watch that you would like community feedback or appraisal, start a new thread in this "Get your Watch Appraised!" sub-forum.

Looks like we have a whole sub-forum / board - so the idea being one thread per appraisal I would assuming, right?

Yeah, this might be cleaner as a separate sub-forum/board where anyone can start a thread for a particular watch.
I can see this getting rather messy and disorganized if everyone posts in a single thread.

New threads per watch and I have taken the liberty of moving some from above to newly created threads. Simon that means your Hello Kitty thread now shows me as the OP. It's a software thing

Any rules on time frame of selling the watch after apraisal? Rob No, I have something coming that will be a different option for selling, offers only type thing is what I am thinking.

Huh. This could be a neat idea. So do the evaluation via the collected brainpower of the forum, and then, if someone wants it, they'll know what to offer. Is that right?
Sort of HiBeat's motto "If you see a watch it's for sale - all we need is to agree on a price" but made easier?

+1 on appraisals - great idea. It does quickly become a "make me an offer" too, so also +1 on that idea. I also like the idea of a silent auction - essentially take private offers for X number of days - highest offer at the end of the process takes the watch, so long is the seller is happy with the final price. And of course I think we should also be calling out notable "originals" listed on ebay and elsewhere - but that horse didn't survive (that won't stop me from beating on it one more time though!). Either I am the only one here that likes the idea, or Fergus has several accounts and used them all to down vote it

The WristSushi gang of regulars is strong but relatively small in numbers. A mere fraction of say WUS, etc.
Probably a bit too small of a pool needed for a decent silent auction. Just my thought.
Our public For Sale listings do get visibility with a wide audience via Watchrecon.com Something to consider.

I am assuming that not all appraisal request watches will be for sale, but some for sure.
If the seller wants to sell, they can list it in the regular BST with an asking price for less hassle. Or, they can list it open to offers if we decide to allow that, and I actually add an additional board. There will probably be some criteria for listing this way, still trying to figure that part out.

To your point Tim Groundhog66 , my 6205-8290 is not for sale. I put it up to get a community sense of worth as I am clueless on this one. I quite fancy it as leffemonster might say.
