Fortunately I bought this watch just for the bracelet. It arrived yesterday and the bracelet is perfect. The DIY lume job is not so perfect. It's not even lume but some kind of paint. The numpty has ruined a lovely dial and hands. Such a shame.

Mild soap water bath with a super soft paint brush might save it, as the dial paint looks sturdy.
Worth a shot if there is nothing to loose.
Still, what a shame!

Yes. I'll give it a go. The dial is also scratched though.

Yes. I'll give it a go. The dial is also scratched though. Bleh. It's always dissapointing to have otherwise nice watch, but with a dial that has been ruined by mishandling. I had very nice Ricoh diver, which someone had totally ruined by removing hands with something totally unaporopiate. In the end, I passed it on as "working with a damaged dial", as I could not stand the scartches even though it was a very nice looking watch. Saw it later for sale for three times the price he paid, without any mention about the dial

Maybe the “ice cream cone” look was deliberate.
