Why are the reputable, old-school Japan based sellers not selling Seiko anymore? Have had great experiences in the past with them.
First off, looks like Seiya Japan went off the grid. Website has been disabled for a while now. Hope they come back.
Both Chino Watch Co. and Higuchi sell mostly Casio/Citizen now.
Chronograph.com (while based in Singapore) is another reputable old-timer. Mr. Lee offers amazing customer service. While he stills sells Seiko, he seems to mostly have discontinued stock on his site; don't see many new references.
Are we to assume...Seiko has taken control of their Japan-based (and Asia region) distribution with a tighter fist?
However, Sakura, Japan Online Store, Shopping in Japan, etc. have new incoming stock. Seiko would probably be Chino's and Higuchi's main brand selling. It's weird that they would stop selling Seiko just like that.

Chino told me if you send them a reference number for Seiko they can generally send you a PayPal invoice.
But yes it appears Seiko has tightened it down.
