Nice bracelet change on the Chevron there peterr
Thankfully this Citizen 8410-C70112 TA Space Master will listen to the JJY emulator on my phone and happily sets itself to the correct time without having to navigate the nightmarish manual setup. This was my prize from the 10th Anniversary Wrist Sushi Contest and I love it! As goofy as it may look to some, I find it very endearing of an age when tech was blooming and new and exciting things were evolving. Kind of how one might fondly look at an old Sony Walkman if you get my drift.

Such a nice example! I'm the original owner of mine. Parents gave it to me as a gift when I was in high school. That was a LONG time ago! My Dad also bought the Titanium version. Amazingly, I also have that one on it's original bracelet. Such iconic watches and such a nice movement. Rugged and serviceable! I had Spencer service my 7049 but the 7089 (to the best of my knowledge) had never been serviced and still runs well!

To those of us "oldies", those tech developments are now fondly remembered but were revolutionary back in the day. I still have both a casette and CD player Walkman! Question: You have an app on your phone to simulate the signal for updates? Very cool. I only have one RC watch (G-shock) that syncs to the Denver signal. I get updates but not every night. My son lives there so he gets them EVERY day!

Question: You have an app on your phone to simulate the signal for updates? Yes, it's simply called JJY Emulator by Mokyuu and it works with a few JAPAN ONLY radio sync watches I own that use JJY to SYNC. I only run it once and awhile as it drives pets and young people crazy with it's high pitched squealing that comes out of your phone's speakers. I don't use the headphones as they never worked for me. There are other emulators by the same people which can do European and I think American signals too?

This arrived today. Impulse purchase of a brand new watch which wasn't in my plan! But I do like how it looks... 40mm is biggest case I've worn for far but got used to it after an hour or so. Just need to decide whether I should sell on and divert the funds to something older, as I feel like it's less meaningful to own without having any stories to tell. Is that ridiculous?!

WOW . . . very cool. Thanks for the info! Thankfully, I get the Denver signal on a semi regular basis.

Aloha , This for now at home.
Remember the other day we went Diving and I used this one also. Well Taking off my Tanks it decided to fall on the boats seat. he Molded rubber Strap just Cracked and came apart Friend said ....... " Man lucky it happened here because this water is over ....... 800 Foot Deep and it would be gone ". The New Strap for this is ... $75.00 - $85.00 USD on ... The Bay now so it will wait for a while. Darn thing is brand new and used only about .... 6 times. Think I might rig up a different strap for this and only for diving so it will work. Today only ......... Miso and Lots of Coffee again till afternoon and we are ...... Diving Tonight again..... . Got to get some for a few Elders here, they asked for some Small Fish and Maybe Lobsters again.
