Aloha Well had some cleaning in my Garage Store room and found couple Aqualand Watch's I did not know I had in there in a ... Little Box. Well last night I just fooled with them and did a service on ..Two of them and this one when batteries went in it just fire up and started working. I would say they were in there for maybe at least ... 4 - 5 Years or so. So no straps yet so I just put it on one of these Nylon Straps for a while today. Integrated bracelet must be some kind of richie rich swiss type often seen out in the suburbs
There are pet peeves about watches that prevent me from buying them and then there are deal breakers and an integrated bracelet is a deal breaker.
This one is just a well crafted, well fitting, contoured solid end link cheap Chinese watch

For some reason, I had two of these in my to be restored pile. I posted one a couple weeks back after restoring it. That one was already in great shape and just needed a spit shine. This one was really beat up on the outside and totally destroyed on the inside. I picked up a working but terrible looking donor real cheap. Now it’s a respectable wear.

Oh hell Peter, I don't think so but it's nice of you to say. They're completely different watches, right? well, the San Martin with the sterile dial gives me the feeling of a vintage Omega with none of the overhead, and it costed $148...but i have had the exact same watch as what you posted today, it's just superlative in so many ways, and it's also 15x more expensive than the San Martin. so, not fair to compare them, but, a good sterile replica gives me the same feeling as the original. but would i rather have yours? hell yeah! Ah, so you had one eh? I hope you put the money to good use! I'd say you captured the vibe based on the photo posted on TOF Having a sterile dial doesn't mess with the mood and a far better way to enjoy the memory than some bio-ceramic/plastic tribute...
