I know all about that stuff. Years ago I bought a watch, and it was nice, and then I turn around one day and I've got dozens and dozens of watches. Where the hell did they all come from? The watch that started it all: and then one day, this happened: And you know what's crazy? I don't own a single one of those anymore, and I still have so many watches that I seriously need to sell off a third of my collection or buy another box.

I'm with Dad too Spence . . . the blue dial is a real gem, so simple and unfussed, Seiko design at it's classical best . . . and that shade of blue in the sun or under light is bloody gorgeous, awesome cluster shot as well man, even if they are all gone now.

That was my very first one. I've owned three more since then, and have the most recent one. Nicely, it's on it's original bracelet and has an unfaded sweep. Sadly the bracelet is too small to wear and the case is seriously hammered.

My first: I picked up a few more after that. Then I hit /r/Watches and got bit. I took a group shot at one time which is now outdated: They just keep appearing on the doorstep.

Gotta agree with you Dawg! I had several Seikos but they were all quartz chronos (except for my Dad's non-working 6139) and gifts from family members. I had maybe four or five watches.
Then, when looking to find a way to get my Dad's watch working again, I found the SCWF. Bunch of enablers indeed. Shawn and Spencer got the old girl running (thanks again guys!) but in the mean time, I developed and addiction to auto divers. I've now got close to 20 and the majority are are auto divers. SPORK, Sumo, Stargate, 6309-7040, Tuna wanna be . . . . I think I've got it BAD.
And YES . . . Mr. Tabasco is due a title here . . . Chief Enabler!

I very much agree with you, Comrades. I promised myself to sell all of my watches, spare maximum three as my keepers. Now I have a few keepers!: Whom am I kidding? Besides promising myself and breaking those promises a few times, I broke my promises to my wife, too, few times! So, we are all addicted, Comrades . . . Capt. Serdal
