I have lusted after this watch since it came out, it's the blue sweep hand and ice blue dial that gets me going…… as i haven't bough a watch for over two months ($10 Seiko an exception) So I've treated myself. Hopefully it will be here next week www.seiyajapan.com/collections/seiko/products/s-sarb065

Nice.
The dial reminds me of the 23 jewel Bulova watches of the 1950's and early 1960's
Good to hear Seiya is in better health and back in business.

Congrats. I know how you feel when looking through Seiya's web page.
It's pure candy store goodness. It takes a strong will not to just click on a watch and hit purchase.
Enjoy you new watch when it arrives and looking forward to the wrist shot.

I agree that is no mistake. Fabulous looking watch the Cocktail Time with dial and hands to die for. I pretty much made my mind up to get one at some stage.

That is one of the few watches that might make me break my "no dress watches" rule.

Thanks guys for the support at least you understand. The price of theses has come down and there are a few still to be had, so i thought it was time to act. The plain text on the dial really works and i have a thing for watches with thin cases. I have never seen that Bulova before, it's a great looking watch, pity it's so small

Such a beautiful dial, I really like that...very nice choice! Such a pity it's called "Cocktail Time" but it does reflect that time of the evening when you sit back from the day and allow the body and mind enjoy the good things in life

Pulled this from Yeoman's site... The Seiko Cocktail Time is a collaboration project between Seiko and Japan’s top bartender, Mr. Ishigaki Shinobu. The three models in this series were designed based on the original cocktails of Ishigaki Shinobu, and they are the “Cool” SARB065, the “Dry” SARB066 as well as the “Sweet” SARB068 which is limited to 300 pieces.

Well anyway, the other 2 models are scarce. I've only ever seen a couple on the forums and haven't seen one in years. MAybe those folks who follow yahoo japan have seen them more frequently.

The Cocktail Time is a legitimate name. Ugh, that makes it worse. It's a great looking watch, but the name...

Seiya's inventory seems like it's light, and there are a couple other things on his site that strike me as odd. Is he having issues?
