Congrats on a great gift!
I cant believe how incredibly lucky/fortunate you are to have obtained that particular model! It's from the V-sports series and known as the V-8
It is perhaps one of THE hardest ones to find.
I have posted WTB ads for over a year looking for one to no avail as they rarely come up for sale.

That now makes me want to focus on regaining my Zodiac collection again!
I used to have some beautiful Zodiacs and the Wife is still mad at me for letting them go!
There is a Fossil outlet store near by where I used to buy all my Zodiac when I collected them and the usual price I paid for any of them was around $69.00. Now the same models IF you can find them sell for about 5 times that!
Fossil used to have me on a list and would call from time to time to let me know they got in new shipments. Sadly one day when I went there they were ALL gone! They decided to stop carrying them and sold all of them off for 50% of the already deeply dis-counted prices!
I asked them why they didnt call me to let me know and the Mgr. explained to me they didnt call customers anymore as it took up too much of their time! I can understand that but I was pissed and dis-appointed!
Last year when in Vegas I stopped by a jewlery store where I had purchased a few watches from in past visits and all the new models were selling in the $800.00 range!

Well, this one is on it's way to TX. I called to order a bracelet, and they require you to send in the watch. Seems like a stupid rule, but I really want a bracelet. They have to order it from China I assume, because it'll be 4-8 weeks.  |
