That thing is made of Ti and it weighs 109 grams?? Damn my Seiko land monster I bought is a monster weight wise and weighs 67 grams! Can you imagine if that Bathy's watch was solid S/S? You could carry it around and use it as a weapon! I personally dont care for them but "to each their own" .

I weighed it myself on my scale I use to weigh my gold nuggets on! Edited to add: The Seiko Black Monster only weighs 90 grams w/o the S/S bracelet.

You know....I'm sure they're nice watches....but there's just "something" about them that doesn't trip my trigger....can't put my finger on it.

I kinda like it. It has an almost Fortis look to it although I'm not keen on the day date indicators. They produce some interesting pieces.

Remember that I told you my Land Monster weighed 67 grams? WRONG!! Turns out my scale was way off and phuked up! I got suspicious when I started to weigh other items that I was fairly sure that I knew the correct weight off and they were Wayyyyyyy off! I bought another scale (coincidentally the very same model ) off the Net and it came today so I weighed the Land Monster again and it turns out it actually weighs = 121 grams which includes the Zulu.

What the shit is THIS ? I am not familiar with that particular watc but it looks like it came from an era when small alarm watches were in vogue. Early on in my WISdom I was drawn to these miniature time keepers. This is just a small selection of the ones I collected and restored... There are no repeats in these pictures and at one time I had double this number in my collection. All of these watches/clocks have/had ladies calibre Swiss movements. I cut my tear down teeth on these little wonders ;-) Sadly, today, I only have half a dozen of these little gems left.

They had to make it that big to house all the tech.

I had started a thread about it HERE.
