This weekend I received my Bergeon crystal pen and was able to clean the crystal and hands. While I was in there: (1) I re-staked the cannon pinion (2) painted the back of the hands white, I see that Seiko does this an it makes the lume a bit brighter (3) cleaned up old grease in the Keyless works and re-oiled

Got in a 7548-7000, for almost nothing. Sold as dead, it came in as advertised. Dead coil, dead circuit. I got another box in the mail in the same delivery. It was a batch of watch movements sold as "junk watch parts, jewelry & crafting". A lot of very rough and battered loose 7123s, 8223s, 5H's, and (among other things) two 7545 movements. Both were dirty and banged-up with bent hands and dials, but one had a good circuit. The other circuit was dead, and the coil was dented to hell, but amazingly it worked. So, on the same day I got all the parts needed to make one complete running watch. The handset is roached but I have five of these already in various levels of condition, and while I could have replaced the handset, it would have turned this one into just another 7548. So, I left it. All original to itself. Introducing "Scraps" the diver

Thanks for the tip on the crystal pen Solex. I'll put one on order, they look useful. Just put a new crystal into this near mint 6139-7100 on the less common Stelux "Battlestar Galactica" bracelet. I really feel I'm about to fight some Cylons or something. I purchased this at a price that would make you guys upset.
