Another fake alert - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rare-Seiko-6306-7001-Original-ScubaPro-450-Turtle-Shark-Mesh-21J-Automatic-Watch-/391087049544After market hands and insert and the dial is an obvious 6309/6 reprint with added ScubaPro text. At least it still has the "original domed crystal"... Yeah, nice try dickhead. Oh and by the way, Loy from the Philippines was on the phone and wants his watch back . In all seriousness though, It'll be interesting to see what this one fetches. I had my eye on an a/m 6105 style 6309-7040 from this seller as a donor for a Tuna dial mod I'm planning and I was prepared to go up to £130 for a quick UK sale. It quickly passed that and finished at £270 (over $400 US) so I guess all the sales BS to unwary ebay punters does indeed pay... With that in mind I think some poor mug will bid this one up to at least £350

Hi. I guess it becomes a lot more dangerous when the seller becomes local for a lot of punters. This guy must be a journalist to pack so much bullshit in such a short space. I notice here that watches (especially 7040's) sell for low to medium prices from the Asian vendors and suddenly triple in price when offered as a local item. This one will no doubt trap some poor bugger into buying it for too much money thinking he has the real deal. Cheers Phil

So much waffle must indicate something fishy. I notice in the blurb, buried deep in the mire he does say it is a redial.

So much waffle must indicate something fishy. I notice in the blurb, buried deep in the mire he does say it is a redial. Yup . . . . the "5" in 150 isn't right. Doesn't have the right angle at the point where the vertical meets the curve. Also, I thought that the "Scubapro" text was a lightish blue? Seems to be a devious bastard. He says it but he doesn't say it. How can a refurbished dial be original? He says it's an original 6303 dial but it's a refurbished Scubapro? WTF? Also, he doesn't show the Kanji date wheel or the movement! Can someone with a Kanji date wheel comment on whether Sunday on the Kanji is red? I already feel bad for the poor sucker who buys it (depending on the price paid of course). I agree that it is a good looking piece and if he advertised it more plainly as to what it is, I'd have no problem.

Well I have to say that it is a "good looking" pile of junk! And 6 people bidding on it.

I say fack!* Finished at £550. I'd be happy to get that for my 100% genuine 6306 if I ever decided to part with it.
