6139-8010 It also has Kanji on the day dial. It came on the leather strap, but it was also sold with the original black metal bracelet. Having trouble finding out more info about it.

Not a common model. Think they came as standard with just the metal bracelet. Sorry I'm no expert on these. Looks a real tidy example.

Very nice indeed and the condition appears to be superb. I have been looking for a 8010 in good original condition for some time, you are fortunate to ave acquired this one

This is a rare model indeed. When I bought my Sumo from one of the co-founders of this board (Dave) he brought a bunch of really rare watches from his collection. To say the watches he showed me was impressive is a massive understatement. I mean he had the best of the best . . . no exaggeration.
This was one of the ones he showed me. I don't recall if it was this color or the blue but he did make a point of telling me how rare it is.
Great watch . . . . congrats and best of luck in finding the right bracelet!
