Yes, I am unveiling "yet another" vintage Seiko with a faceted crystal, but this one is a new color, unlike any other I have done!!
Here is the Priority Mail bulk rate box from California, the mother lode for these lately!

Inside, much improved packaging! Hooray!!

Notice how the watch was secured to a rigid flat piece that was isolated from the edges of the box! Good technique!

Here is the interior bundle. I think I can see a watch in there!

And there it is a 1974 Seiko Actus 7019-7350, with a perfect faceted crystal and bright green textured dial. Sporting a typical 70's chunky case and semi-shrouded lugs, and the 21 jewel 7019 automatic movement. Here is some history according to Adriano Ramos Passarelli:
Most of the well known 700x derivatives – 7005, 7006 and 7009 – equipped the basic “Seiko 5″. The base-caliber of the 70xx line is the 7005. Although launched in 1969, the 7005 were only manufactured in volume starting in 1971. It is a total automatic line, that can be divided in 4 generations (approximated dates):
First generation (69 to 71): 7005 and 7006.
Second generation (71 to 78): improved generation, with calibers 7019 and 7025, and chronographs 7015, 7016, 7017 and 7018, considered “high-end” calibers. The second generation was developed with the addition of the bilingual calendar and the calendar quick-set of the day of the week pressing the crown. These innovations had appeared in caliber 7019. The 7019 is slightly more sophisticated compared to the majority of the 70xx line, equipping the collections “Seiko 5 Actus” and “5 Seiko Advan”.

This appears to be the original bracelet but it is very short, like 6.57" inch short.

And here is the case-back.

I could not find a strap I owned that fit and matched well, so instead of a wrist shot, here is a group picture of some of my recently acquired, brightly colored Seikos, that feature faceted crystals.

For some reason the phrase "sugar plums" dances in my head!!
Thanks for looking!
