Keeping my family all in sync. My wife's favored 6458-600A back home with my very special 7548.

It's such a beautiful watch. Beautiful all-metal jeweled movements too. Really high-end stuff.

Great pair! Here is my 6458...had all the colors once but sold them off to collectors. Found this orange one and it will remain in the collection for nostalgia! haha! The 6458s were a short run model but very nice! seiko 6458 Lamborghini orange by blingmeister, on Flickr

That 7548 was Jonathan's, right?

That 7548 was Jonathan's, right? Yes. I have been graced as its caretaker. I discussed case mods with him a few times and that one looked familiar. If I remember correctly, he said the case tube and back weren't bad, but the case was so beat that he had to just grind away at it and this is where he decided to stop.

That 7548 was Jonathan's, right? Yes. I have been graced as its caretaker. Btw, if you ever feel the desire to part with this one, please let me know. This was the example he showed that gave me the confidence to continue doing case mods. When I showed my first and asked to see others, he was the only one to jump in, and this was his example. He did things his own way, and that's why I have so much respect for what he did. He was an innovator. To me, this strikes home as an example of who he was, and I'd love nothing more than to see it in my collection and on my wrist as a reminder. I'm sure you're not planning to part with it, but... if you feel the need, you can rest assured I'd give it a good home. Oh, and since I'm 26, you'd be ensured it'd tell it's story for quite a long time. It's amazing what he did for the Seiko community, and I feel the number one goal is to keep that memory alive.

I appreciate the interest but the watch is home. For me it is an heirloom and a constant reminder of my absent friend.
