Well you'll just have to wait and see won't you! :-P
Here is a sturdy box from a far, far away state in the U.S.

Inside is a well protected Seiko gift box.

Here it is with it's armor stripped away.

And this is the internal watch box. This watch came with "everything" from another collector, boxes, books, hang tag, warranty card, you name it.

Oh no, it's jammed!! :-( I *hate* watch boxes, they always do this just when I am going to see the watch!
In fact I keep a "watch unveiling crowbar" handy, just for this reason!

There we go! By the way (sorry to get "preachy" here), classic watch packing error, not packing the watch box so the watch cannot move around inside. As soon as I picked up the box at the Post Office, I could feel the watch banging around inside the watch box, Please folks, put some padding in the watch box so the watch cannot move, so it doesn't bang around like the cork ball in a whistle!

Here is a closer look at this very hard to find 2006 Seiko SARB013, the cream colored Alpinist, with the venerable 6R15 movement and a "vintage" or "retro" look, like the old 4S15 Alpinists of years past.
I love the "cathedral" hands, so named for their resemblance to the leaded glass windows as found typically in cathedrals.

Here is the crowns side. I don't usually get to use the plural here! :-D
One complaint about these Alpinists is that the inner bezel crown does not lock, and is usually (always?) very easy to turn, so it is hard to maintain the inner bezel position. I fantasize about using an O-ring inside the case, to make the crown harder to turn, but so far I have not brought this plan to fruition.

Here is the "common" side.

The dreaded "two-hole" micro-adjust clasp.

And a classic Alpinist case-back.

Dreaded "two-hole" clasp non-withstanding, it fits me just fine, and looks great!

Many thanks to the seller, I have been looking for one of these for quite a few years, and was despondent about finding one in good condition.
And now my set is complete, with the newer green and cream 6R15 variations, to go along with my old 4S15 black and cream models.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures!
Thanks for clicking in!
