There's another watcher now. I'd forget about it otherwise. Quite from the seller: "This model is still worn by many present day astronauts on Shuttle missions."

Hi. Omega have become the masters of the limited edition game. Although the collection looks absolutely wonderful it really isn't very representative of the watches worn on many of those missions. These watches all have a Lemania 1861 movement in them, it wasn't introduced until 1996. For anyone wanting the genuine article, it must have the 321 . I believe Archer watches are the Guru on these, I have heard he stockpiled parts etc some time ago. Cheers Phil

Jeez, what a set...Can't say I like the addition of the mission badge, on the dial though.

Other than scarcity, I don't see the appeal of this set.

A Archer is a cool dude. He has always taken the time to answer many of my questions.

I was in my friends shop the other day talking about clocks and watches to a guy who my friend knows. It turns out he is the chief honcho for the late great George Daniels watches and keeps track of the register. George designed and made all his watches by hand and is claimed to be the best watchmaker for over 250 years. Anyway I said I live in hope to find one of Georges watches in a junk shop tray one day and he replied 'we know where all of Georges watches are and who owns them'. I guess when you spend $100,000+ on a single watch you take more care of it than the average Seiko www.danielslondon.com/
