Hey Thomas, there is a pattern emerging. I’m eagerly waiting for the next episode of “Overbidding Tales”.
What kind if text do you end up with, when you type with your butt?

On its way, I finally pulled the trigger on a new Zodiac.
That looks very good!
I like the hands, the date window, the dial, the chapter ring, the bracelet and the bezel, a lot!

I agree! It was this Hodinkee article that pushed me over the edge. www.hodinkee.com/articles/zodiac-super-sea-wolf-diver-hands-on

Couldn't resist... Lots to be done on this one. But it's on a stelux (clasp) H-link, which is nice... That's a project, well worth going after. I love it. Well, it's here - no Stelux stamping, and since the center chrono wheel is no where to be had, one of my Jumbo's will have to bite the bullet and be a movement donor... This watch is already eating up my funds New crystal (Sternkreuz), new Bracelet (AM replica of the JDM bracelet), new Hands (thanks, Vlad!)...

. Too good to be true? A 1997 Seiko SKJ004 Kinetic in marvelous cosmetic condition, for a hundred bucks? Okay the bracelet is described as short at 16cm around the wrist. But you "never" see the bezel in this good condition, especially the inner rim/edge. - Thomas .

. I am glad I like these clean, simple 7002-8000 dress watches. Because I just keep buying them!! They seem so elegant and attractive, with fun bits like the ice-cream cone hour markers. "Vintage History with Timeless Beauty" (He-he-he, we were making up preposterous/meaningless sales lines like that at work Friday. Lots of fun...) This is one of three variations, a 1993 silver/gold SDS009. There is also a silver/black SDS011 and a gold/gold SDS014. I have at least two of each, I can usually pick them up for well under US$100 (like US$30!) and this particular one is in better condition than most, especially the crystal, which can get really beat up on these. Okay, that should be all for the next few days... - Thomas .

Oops! I forgot I had bid on this! A "corner filler"? I would hope most of you are familiar with these two "ultimate" 1973 Seiko VANACs, the 5626-723A and 5626-723B. (A couple of mine.) But did you know they have a slightly more conservative sibling, the 1973 Seiko VANAC 5626-723C? Not in the best condition, but cheap. Now I have to find a crystal (I actually saw one on YJ a few months ago! But I wanted one for my 723A and 723B, so I passed. Different case I guess??) and maybe a proper bracelet down the road. - Thomas .

I’m not sure I’ve seen that Alpinist variation previously. It should clean up nicely.
