Back in September 2014 I found a NOS gold-plated 1966 Seikomatic-R, a stunningly beautiful watch that looks dressy to me, I guess because of the gold plating.
But this second example gives me the impression of being a real "business class" watch. Not a low-level employee style, more like a watch the stern boss-man would wear.
Aww, look! A cute medium-sized EMS bag!

Ahh, the plastic grocery bag! The astute observer will know already what seller this is from!

Bonus! I actually received two grocery bags, along with the local newspaper.

The usual bagged and bubble-wrapped bundle is inside the newspaper.

It definitely looks like I got a watch!

Yes, it is a 1967 Seikomatic-R 8305-8030, in stainless steel this time, with an 30 jewel 8305B movement, which I found out (the hard way) is an automatic-only movement, not also hand-wind-able like the 8305C!

Here is a closer look, and while not NOS, it is very clean. A couple of interesting tidbits are that the 8305 movement allows quick-set of the date in both directions and has a integrated "inversion-roller" winding mechanism, which although more complex, is thinner and supposed to be smoother than the ubiquitous "Magic-Lever" system seen in so many Seiko automatics.

Here is the crown side.

The clasp of the non-Seiko bracelet. An interesting bracelet link design, but this bracelet is very short, like for a 6 inch writs.

And the case-back picture.

That bracelet was not only very short it was grossly dirty!! After I got it off the watch I went and washed my hands before I would touch the new strap I was going to put on, I mean "Yuck!"
But now with the smooth black leather strap, I think the watch looks very "sharp", very business-like, but with a classy "well to do" look.

I took these pictures last night, and I have been wearing the watch at work today, where it has been easy to read and seems very accurate.
Thanks for looking!
