How do so many people here have a issue with what he is selling but no negative feedback on ebay for him? If it was me I would post negative feedback and scream from the top of the tallest building so my fellow wis wouldn't get screwed by him also. Just my .02 He offers them a big refund or their money back to the point that he begs not to leave neg feedback. There are ways around a neg that's for sure. Also a lot of folk just don't realise what they brought it made from aftermarket parts.

Sometimes I get bored... but mainly I hate scammers, anyway I was researching 6139-2002's on eBay and saw that quite a few were selling for about US$452 (buy it now's) and that they came from Retroo.
So I started to have a look at his feedback & completed items, and at this point you start to his bare-faced thievery - so pad and paper in hand i did a bit of 'research' and math.
He pretty much only sells two watches: - a 'pogue' repro - a citizen 'bullhead' repro
Interestingly as far as I could see all have individual serial numbers, so I assume he is rebuilding a lot of watches (or getting them from somewhere!)
In the past year he has sold: - pogue = 25 @ $452(approx) = $11300 - bullhead = 32 @ $321(approx) = $10272
So, his sales to the unsuspecting and gullible = 57 watches @ $21572
and finally apologies for re-birthing and old thread :-/

If we ever find out their source of these watches, let's buy the lot and set up a WS commune or something so everyone gets one. our boy beejoo4 has a nice Panda up on the bay right now. I'm tempted to do something stupid and take a flyer. the dial looks like the real deal which is worth having if I ever find another. what do you guys think?

Stay well away from that one! This is a repro dial. They get better and better. sophon_l sells these dials and they are better than all the other fakes, but still - no. Notice the hour markers - the corners of the date window print - the "O" on "Seiko". If your Panda dial is destroyed or one of the horrible white AM ones - you could go for this dial. But not if you want to buy an original Panda! Hands are wrong, too. Bracelet is stated as replacement. Don't do it. Friends don't let friends buy from beejoo4, sophon_l or retroo1! On another note: There are a lot of casebacks for the "Pogue" out there with the serial number 791732.
Take a look (thanks cbrmike and westmouth): That last one was bought sometime in 2012, so they are around for some time...

It's because when people complain to him he does everything in his power to coax them into not leaving a negative feedback. There are ways around the rating system on evilBay. Ask lordflagpole he has had dealings with this guy.

Oh yes ! I bought this from his Beejooped incarnation, before I knew about Frankenbells, over polishing etc. It was described as recently serviced. Arrived not working, and I couldn't hear the rotor moving, so I took the back off to find this jammed under it. I left negative feedback and unbeknown to me, he left a reply saying "awkward customer". Having paid too much (I now know), and instantly, which makes me VERY awkward , I was a bit annoyed. So, when he phoned me up (yes, phoned me !!!) begging me to retract the negative because he was only trying to make a living, and a close family member was in hospital and he couldn't afford for Evilbay to withdraw his account, sob, sob, , I agreed to a partial refund. A kind member of TOF sent me a replacement (and whole) movement retaining ring free of charge, so in the end I didn't get too bad a deal, as the watch runs and keeps excellent time. Would I buy from him again ? Er..................... NO !

I think bejoo4 and retroo1 are the same seller. Would never buy from him, ever. Also, looks like the fakes industry is starting to produce more and more counterfeit cases and case backs. First it was just the 6138 sliderules, now they're going for the Pogues, Bullheads and 6105s as well. The horrible Suwa logos on them is a dead giveaway.

He also goes by another name out of London but I can't remember it right now. Beejooped is his evilBay name for the watches that look almost perfect. Rejooped is his name for the watches that have a bit of age to them and the other London based name is what he sells all the really crappy stuff via. He must be on a fortune. I struggle to get the prices he gets for my genuine watches. I would personally like to flatten this guys nose.

One of the main reasons I brought all that Seiko stuff from Stefan a few months back was to stop bejooped getting his paws on it. He'd have gone potty for all those chronograph cases. First thing I done was to destroy all the case backs and dials.

Has anyone seen the seller out of NZ with a ton of 6139-6002/5's?
They look all pieced together, but i guess at least they don't look restored or anything. They could all just be in really bad shape.. but i wonder where he gets them from..

I too stupidly bought a pogue from him back in November, when it arrived without knowing what I now know about 6139s I could tell it was a feiko,i have 1977 pogue original that was my comparison, so face/dial was the wrong color, and almost a copper hue, the lettering on the dial in lower area (8 o'clock) was much bolder printing than the 1977 watch, the tiny 17-J printed below the hands stem was missing, and the most noticeable thing was that the chrono sub dial had very distinct concentric ridges nothing like on the 1977 watch. Also the caseback just looked wrong, the proportions were off, and the edges more rounded, the little divets where I presume the wrench to remove the caseback goes just were no where near as sharp and defined as those on the 1977 watch. The printing on the caseback looked very shallowly imprinted and was even missing in patches where it could have either been worn away with years of wear or more likely a cheap caseback knockoff that wasn't printed very carefully. Also, the bezel sticker on the 1977 watch has a neat border of metal around it, that in many photos of real pogues found online looks consistent with them. The supposed 1976 watch, doesn't have that neat gap of metal and the tachy sticker goes almost to the very edge of the bezel.long sorry short I returned it and he was ok to deal with but not easy, never again!

While there ARE "Pogues" with the more copper coloured dials, also known as "R" dials as opposed to the yellow "T" dial.. they are so easy to spot the fake "R" dial ones. Sounds like a definite fake though..
