How are they different from the current models? Look pretty similar to me.
Edit: never mind. Compared them

I like the dial. The hands are OK but at least Seiko finally made them long enough to reach the chapter ring. The price

Thanks for posting, OP.
Not bad, but prefer the previous generation.
The lume plots at 6 and 9 look truncated, when you're used to the designs from the SKX007 back to the 630X. Handset looks a little Playschool.
Bezel is nice, and I'd bet with the new lume compound these glow like the sun.

They're all very nice looking but too steep for my budget.
Hands look like they just re-used Monster hands?

I think the previous generation of Tunas looked better. I don't really like the new hands or hour markers.

I dislike the hands, bezel pip and the new bracelet. The older version had a great bracelet and layout imo.

when i think Tuna I do not think of those hands
and i love Tuna hands
maybe they will grow on me over time , NOT SO MUCH
Old > New
only thing worse than the hands is the dial plots

The new bracelet looks like crap. I hate it when they do those thin polished strips in the middle of the bracelets. They always get scratched up and mess up the entire look.

Everything else seems ok to me. That hour hand though... If I do buy a quartz Tuna, it'll be the previous model.

I like these apart from the hands. But I think I could get to like them in time.

previous handset seems to be iconic. these hands match the spring drive model

Its good to see a black option at this price and I like how they've changed the calendar wheels from white to black and also painted the hands. I'm not too keen on the other changes right now though they'll probably grow on me, but why do they continue to put the lume on the wrong side of the seconds hand? Someone at Seiko HQ needs to have a word with themselves .

I didn't like the new style at all initially, but it's grown on me. I'll be keeping my Darth, but I could see myself adding one of the new school Tunas at some point.

I like the new minute hands but not the hour hand... on the earlier version I liked the hour hand but not the minute one... Price seems a little stiff too... but I guess that's the main reason they make new watches.
