Well, besides this one being a 1966 instead of a 1967, and an 8046 instead of an 8006 (although if you remember, the case-back on the other one was a bit ambiguous about that, but it was 30 jewel which means it is an 8006), the main reason was the first had a small problem, it did not run! :grrr:
So I was sending it back to the seller, and decided to bid on this one to make up for it. But after refunding my entire purchase prices including the shipping charge, the seller then told me to keep the watch as a gift to make up for my disappointment. Wow, is that a good seller? Since I was keeping it, I went through with the unveiling anyway.
Here is the small registered mail package that arrived Monday for the second one.

Ah-ha! There it is, a 1966 Seiko Business-A 8346-8000, with the 27 jewel, 18,000 bph mid-range automatic movement.
Let's get a closer look!

Despite it mid-range market, the styling is very classic, with the sun-burst dial texture and chiseled hands and markers. And it runs and sets just fine!

Here is a look at the crown aside. The case is great condition, too!

Now the other/plain/case/common/subject side.

And the case-back.

Replaced the buckle with a deployant, and strapped it on! I think it looks pretty darn good!

I am actually trying to slow down my purchase rate, after my "best offer" incident, I need to build up the fund! :-/
But on the other hand, I picked up another "investment" watch this evening at the Post Office, so watch for that unveiling tomorrow night!!
Thanks for looking in!
