I don't really have anything with a sexy case-back but this is my favourite pic of one at the moment. (Pic courtesy of the Bay) Don't have the right case back opener ? No sweat. Get the grinder out ! And be sure to leave a hole in the back of your vintage Rolex so you can keep it topped up with oil.

Any info on the "Picture" in the third photo? One of the nicest posts IMO. No significance that I'm aware of. As far as I know it's just a house on a hill in lieu of the monogram plate from the front. The dial and movement are marked for The Sigler Bros which was a fairly big jewelry house back in the day local to Cleveland. I've yet to identify the maker of the movement. The case on the otherhand is 14k solid gold manufactured by Brooklyn Watch Case Co., which was eventually bought by Joseph Fahys & Co in the early 1900s, who marketed their cases as being assayed higher than the competitors by using purer gold. She's not functioning at the moment so she rests peacefully with the young guns in the watch case.

Some lovely case backs ! thunbsup.gif I enjoy the twin seahorses on the back of my Daymaster. I'll see your sea horses (well, one of 'em) and raise you a flock of sea lions
And a Dolphin (?)
