Morning all. I found this at my favourite charity shop yesterday. I almost passed it over but thought I'd better google the model before I left the store. Turns out it's reasonably sought after. Seems the series was NASA approved for space missions. I don't know if this particular model has actually been in space though. [edit: 829 module for space, not this one] It's in fairly good nick, with original strap, but the plastic end of one pusher is missing :-( And the caseback: I put a fresh CR2016 battery in it and everything seems to be working nicely - even the pusher with the missing end. A few questions: The serial number starts with a 7. Would that be 77 or 87? Does anyone have any suggestions as to a source for the missing pusher end or whole pusher? I'll try Stefan, but is there anyone else? Boley and Jules Borel have the part (80606954) listed and Jules Borel even has a price ($13.50), but as a collector (rather than a professional) I can't seem to get an account to try to order the part. What do you think? Is there any reasonable chance of finding a replacement pusher? Does someone with a Jules Borel account mind seeing if the part part can be ordered (might indicate whether they actually have it). Thanks, Tristan Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Great score.
It is hard to find rare and interesting watches anywhere other than EBAY.

Nice pick up!
I thought the plastic pusher was taped to the back of the watch in your earlier pic?

Nice pick up! I thought the plastic pusher was taped to the back of the watch in your earlier pic? Only a small part of it unfortunately. I did hunt around in the bottom of the tray to see if the rest had fallen out but no luck.

Nice catch! The rotating bezel on these A82X watches are super fun. Does your bezel operate the mode change properly? I've got an A829-6000, and there was a time when the bezel worked fine. But now it only seems to rotate between "Time" and "Time Set". Got to send it in for a good clean-up. Read somewhere about plungers getting stuck or something like that.

Yes, my bezel seems to operate fine. It's a little stiff, but it changes to operate all the modes. I'm tempted to pop it off to clean and grease underneath.
