So a few of us Aussies have a love hate relationship with our local classifieds with hit and miss transactions with some backyard entrepreneurs. (For you Tristan) I picked up 2 citizen ecodrive nighthawks for repair. I don't like doing sales by text only and his responses were a bit odd but I payed him. Most times I ask for a tracking number but before I had a chance he sent me a video by SMS detailing his entire postal transaction. I was surprised but a little reassuring. I wonder how the postal officer felt being filmed. Cam

Above and beyond. With all the fraud going on now, this will probably get used more. I always said the postman needs photographic proof of receiver signing for a parcel too. Far too easy for someone to sign a squiggle and deny it was them. Happens a lot on ebay sales.

I once took a pic of a package, after it was processed/labeled by the post office worker. They reprimanded me, saying it was not allowed because it was now their property. I told them it was not their property, just their responsibility to get it delivered.

I take pics of packages going overseas after shipping has been processed and it's ready to go. Never had the post office people get mad at me for snapping a pic.

I took a picture of a package after they had put the postage on it once. I asked permission first though and it wasn't a problem. The post lady thanked me for asking before I did it.
