I picked this up from TZ last week, but I already have one Suwa and HK dial 6309, so I've decided to sell this one and hunt for a 6306.
The dial is definitely original and in pretty good condition. The lume doesn't seem to be showing any degradation.
Hands seem original to me, after comparing with other examples and my own, and do show some wear on the lume.
I'm not sure if the crystal is an original which has been polished or a repro, but it does have a frosted edge and is free from any scratches or marks.
As far as I know, the sides of the case don't seem to have been polished. I'm pretty sure that the left portion of the top of the case (next to the 9 o'clock side, where there's a brushed finish) has been re-brushed though, as I can't make out the circular lines on that side. The right side seems to have the proper circular lines, though the case does show wear overall.
The crown screws in about 3 to 4 turns, so the crown tube is fine. After unscrewing, the crown doesn't pop out very strongly, which I think can be taken care of by replacing the spring.
The only thing I did to this watch after receiving it was swap out the bezel insert with an AM one from my 7548, which I purchased from a highly regarded member on the forum. The bezel turns fine with a good click.
Service history is unknown, but it seems to be keeping pretty decent time over a couple of days.
Anyway, sorry for the long-winded description. I just wanted to describe everything as accurately as I can. Here are some pictures of the watch:
Asking $200 shipped to the US. Will ship to Canada as well, with a slight adjustment for shipping.
Thanks for looking!
