Buyer beware. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. This is made up out of bits. It's a early proof dial (69-71) with a 1977 case back. You hardly ever see a nice watch come out of Germany. What's that all about then?
Normally I wouldn't do this but the sellers asking a fair chunk of money for what is basically bits cobbled together.

Besides the caseback, and being a bit scruffy, and a crap bracelet, I think it's OK. I'd buy it.

It looks like someone has thoughtfully scraped the lume off the dial batons.
That said, the dial and inner tachy ring look nice.

Some nice spare parts but if it's ever made into a watch with the correct period case back it's a marriage. That's without knowing whether its 6139A or B movement. I just think at that money it was worth warning people off as not everyone agree's its ok to use bits and bobs from different watches.

well i have to agree with Tony....as i have had a few of these thru my hands....this one has the non notch case which is incorrect for the proof dial and it also has the wrong crown and the incorrect second hand as it should be a two piece design for the proof dial...and with not knowing what is has inside...it seems very high priced...and i know first hand how hard and pricey these parts are...it would be great if you had the correct case to put it all in...thank you for heads up...God Bless John

The watch in the last photo isn't even the same watch. Maybe that's pointed out in the description but I don't read German nor do I care to translate via google.

Ha! Well spotted I didn't even look I've got nowt against this watch or anyone buying it. I just wanted to point out about the case back so forum members go in with eyes wide open. It's easier if we all look out for each other

It's always nice to point things out for the newer members or members who aren't familiar with a certain model.

Us germans simply don't put our ebay auctions on "world wide" ebay. Most of what you see abroad on ebay that ships out of germany is from people that have an interest in selling globally. Don't know where they get their stuff, though. Could well be what seikoholic said.
Edit: Aww, would you look at that - three "Pogues" underneath each other!
