I've always like heavy, solid bracelets and I recently came across this Seiko band and bought it for my 6139. As you can see in the picture, the end links don't fit as well as I wish they would. The center link that fits into the end link has a fairly large opening and the spring bar that's being used is one of the largest I've seen. I figure that I could use a smaller diameter spring bar and close up the loops on the end link, which would make the end link fit tighter to the watch case, but the band center link would then have a lot of play. The person I bought the band from said that the band and end links were original. I have no reason to believe they are not. Any suggestions? Attachments:

That is not the correct bracelet for a 6139-600X. It is a bracelet for a 6139-700X. The shape of the case is different and probably why the fit of the end link is off.

Unfortunately you cannot just get proper end links because the center link cut out would be 10 mm and this looks very narow, maybe 5 or 6 mm.
Good luck in your hunt.

Your end links look like over polished but original links found on the Stelux president bracelet that was fitted to some of the 6139-600x's.

If you'll notice on his bracelet Tony, the bracelet is wider then the end link. Although similar to the Stelux used on the 600X series it is slightly different. The end link also has more of a curve to it.

I had a poor fit issue like that because of the thickness of the spring bar, I ended wrapping a bit of electrical tape on the bar to make it thicker, worked like a charm. try it ,costs nothing.

You can also use spacer tubes that widen the diameter of the spring bar. I've got some from Harold (Yobokies) for adapting a fat spring bar endlink to "normal" spring bars.
