I looked in my desk drawer and was shocked to see it full of steel bracelets I have removed from watches and replaced with leather bands. Is this an age thing ? Some watches just do not look good on a strap but I seem to take this as a personal challenge and now spend hours looking for straps Is it because Seiko bracelets are so poor ? Is there an app that we can create that produces perfect watch and strap combos A sort of try before you buy or am I just overthinking this and need to get some rest

yes, Seiko has made a lot of crappy bracelets (they should be embarrassed). But whether or not a specific watch looks good on a specific bracelet or strap (that includes leather, nylon, rubber, anything non-metal) is completely subjective to the wrist of the beholder. Above all else - COMFORT - is the key ingredient. Don't over think, just enjoy.
