I'm sure we're all aware that Seiko don't and never have offered bezel inserts on their own. If you need one the complete bezel has to be purchased with the insert attached. So when this insert only with (claimed) original packaging popped up it piqued my interest - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201374272476A quick google of the part number on the packaging shows it to actually belong to a 6105 case ring... The Seiko Authorized Dealer plaque in the pictures may lend it some sort of credibility but still, £285 for an insert with dodgy provenance when almost perfect repro's are available from Harold for 1/10th the price. I'm wondering if this is actually one of Harolds inserts with the case ring packaging (available for less than £10 and you get a free case ring) and the dealer sign is put there to sucker the unwary into believing that its actually a legit 40 year NOS part. And now I see that he has another one up for grabs... Edit: I've just seen that this has already been discussed on TOF and it is indeed a fake. The listing was reported as such but ebay failed to intervene.
