This wonderful piece has a Swiss movement and a sapphire Crystal. It's a nice thin profile and a soft leather band that is very useless!

Sort of reminds me of the Times Color Flicks watches. Depending on where that hands / colored discs overlapped you got a different dial. Sort of like those old Gladlock commercials: yellow and blue make green seal.

Definitely not a watch for me . . . . that wouldn't work with my color deficient eyes!

My guess would be between 0314 and 0318 or 1514 and 1518.

2.17? Can't say that would appeal to me.

My guess would be between 0314 and 0318 or 1514 and 1518. 3 o'clock. Each colour wedge represents an hour. Eg the yellow represents 12 o'clock. Therefore if all you can see is yellow it's 12 o'clock. If the wedge shows half yellow and half orange it's 1:30 Read an old page from a Google suggests it's easy to read once you get used to it. Google Chromachron if your interested. I think it's great. There are some awful examples of watches out there but they tend to be hideous copies of something that was originally reasonable. Even if you would have never worn it. I guess Jump Hour would have turned a few noses. The calculator watch may have been seen as a novelty. I don't know how important this was and I'd say the Longines Comet with dot minute would be far more collectable, but there was definitely a trend to push the boundaries with Time and art. On quickly researching the Chromachon I think it represents a niche that was followed by a group for a few decades.

It's a 12 hr watch dial with 12 colour segments... I don't think it's designed for people who set their watches by time severs!
